Design Effects: poor animation performance in some environments

    Description

      A project making use of the Design Studio Effects (including DesignDropShadow), and animating them, is showing poor performance on a Thinkpad X1 Carbon (no GPU) running Windows 11, and even poorer performance on a Toradex i.MX 95 Verdin EVK board (with Mali GPU) running Boot2Qt 6.8.0.
