Make mode selectors visible by default

It is impossible to navigate around QDS unless mode selectors are used. People who know use the keyboard shortcuts. Novices will struggle unless at least the icons are visible. Having them visible also makes the UX similar to Qt Creator.

It is also difficult to instruct customers how to use QDS during workshops unless selectors are enabled first. 

Many Qt Academy courses also start by making them visible first.
