Remote variables (that may happen for example when some items are copied from one design to the other that does not have some variables used) are not handled by the exporter.

The same happens for the deleted variables (someone has created it, used it in some item, and then deleted it). They look like this in Figma:

We should always notify a user about this and default to some available color.
