Created 2D component doesn't show up in 2D view

• Create new project
• Add a Rectangle item under the scene
• Verify the new rectangle is shown on 2D view
• Select "Create Component" from navigator context menu for the new Rectangle
• Press ok

--> The rectangle disappears from 2D view. It should still be visible.

• Run the application

--> The rectangle is visible when running the application.

Rectangle becomes visible if you close and reopen the project, which suggests this is a project storage update issue.
