Dragging .q3d file to scene should not be possible when corresponding document is open

      • Create 3D project
      • Import 3D scene (e.g. Box.fbx)
      • Drag the imported item from assets to the 3D view or navigator

      --> Error "Type cannot be instantiated recursively (Box). (M129)"

      Dragging .q3d file corresponding to the current document should not attempt to add the component.
