Description
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a project
- Add view3D
- Delete the default cube and add new cube by dragging it to 3D Editor
- Create a timeline
- Select the cube from the navigator
- Insert the first keyframes to frame 0 by selecting Settings > Insert Keyframe from the properties pane, for rotation x, y and z
- Press the record (Auto key) button in the timeline
- Activate the rotate tool in the 3D Editor
- Move the playhead to some other frame, for example frame 200
- Rotate the cube on z-axis -90 degrees
- Repeat the last two steps until you have rotated the cube -360 degrees in total
- Play the animation or move playhead to see the result animation -> First the cube rotates as expected, then it starts rotating to the wrong direction.
This only happens when rotate gizmo is used in animating the rotation. If values are changed directly to the properties pane when recording, animation works as wanted.
