When giving a layer a malformed id in the bridge plugin we don't give the user a warning on import, even though the importer handles it well. So for example a id with spaces will simply remove the spaces and an id with too many forbidden characters will simply rename the id to element. As we have the warning panel it would be good to add this to it.
