Description
One big challenge for the Qt Quick Designer has been so far the many little usability issues. Although the situation has improved in the last versions, there still are issues which will discourage first time users who are used to other tools.
We will have a UX designer who knows all kind of tools out there who will work with us to pinpoint the usability issues.
A list of potential issues to look for and to fix:
- Standard conformance with other tools in things like item selection
- Discoverability of functions
- Intuitive layout of views
- Overall ergonomy
- Smoothness of actions (interactions hanging or jerking)
