The preview client will talk to the preview debug service in Qt and resolve URLs from the target application to files in any open projects. It will then retrieve the files and send them through the debug connection.

The URL resolution will likely be a challenge as it is possible to have multiple projects deploy different files to the same location, and the resource system and the deployment process are rather complex.
