zoom settings are not reset

      when you set a zoom factor, close the live preview and re-launch it, the last zoom factor is perceived as 100% so it loads at the wrong zoom level. Also this causes it to crash silently and intermittently. (for example i left it running for a while and came back and it had crashed)
