Curve editor ignores the current state selection

The animation curve editor ignores which state is currently selected.

To reproduce:

Create a scene with 2 states, assign a timeline and an animation to each of the states and assign keyframes to both of the timelines.

Now select state A and compare the keyframes in the timeline editor and curve editor. Then do the same with state B. Note that the keyframes for one of the states differ.
