Currently component instances are not re-sizable. We should really try and find a way to make resize work otherwise Designers using Design Systems will be frustrated by the fact that certain components, such as UI Panels, do not look correct in their imports.

We also should not suggest to detach components as this goes against Figma's design system recommendations.
