Occasional DS crash when opening examples

• RTA results show occasional DS crashes related to opening examples from Welcome page > Examples.
• Test opens, runs and closes the examples one by one and every now and then there seems to be a crash after clicking the example tile when project is about to open
• Seems to happen randomly, not just for some specific example.
• I was able to reproduce manually using the snapshot on Windows and macOS.
• Attached two different crash reports I was able to get from macOS when testing.

Tested with the latest snapshot of 3.6 from staging.
