Linux: QDS can crash when switching modes

      RTA test results show crash for QDS on Linux when switching modes (Open the attached project and then switch between Edit mode -> Design mode -> Projects mode back and forth). It seems to be more likely to reproduce when using this test project that is attached.

      Did not see crashes on macOS&Windows results, so it might be Linux only.
