Effect folder not visible after deleting and creating it again

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create/open a project
2. Right click in Assets and choose "New effect", give it a name and choose "Create"
3. -> Effect folder with effect file visible in Assets view as expected
4. (Close Effect maker, no need to actually create the effect)
5. Right click on top of Effects folder in Assets view
6. Choose "Delete folder" and confirm delete if asked
7. -> "Looks like you don't have any assets.." shown as expected, assets empty
8. Repeat step number 2
9. -> Effect folder with created effect file not visible in Assets, instead it seems to be empty still
10. Type "qep" in Assets view search
11. -> Effect folder and file now visible
