Splash screen checkbox status is not saved

    Description

      Splash screen checkbox "Don't show this again" status is not saved if the splash screen killed by Timer, and not by user clicking the close button. 

      Steps:
      1. Open QDS
      2. Click "Don't show this again" checkbox in the splash screen, DON'T click the close button
      3. Wait a few seconds until the timer hides the window
      4. Restart QDS
