MCU support in Design Studio
Description
Qt for MCUs is announced: https://blog.qt.io/blog/2019/08/21/announcing-qt-mcus/
*We need to support the design developer workflow. *
This means Qt Design Studio has to support Qt for MCUs.
Not all features have to be available from the start.
1) WYSIWYG editor
2) Qt bridges ( Photoshop and Sketch support)
3) Live Preview
4) Deployment (maybe Qt Creator only)
5) Debugging (maybe Qt Creator only)
6) Profiling (maybe Qt Creator only)
Deployment, Debugging and profiling might be challenging because Qt for MCUs has to compile a binary for the target platform. The toolchain might be challenging for designers.
The fallback is a runtime for the host system that supports at least live preview and debugging.
