Description
Simple Property Editor improvements
There are a few low relativly low hanging fruits to improve the Property View.
- Responsive layout regarding the width. The Property editor is quite broad. If users make it slimmer there are a few options to react in a responsie way. We should check and compare them. The labels could be on top, instead of next to the controls (which increases the height and will jump) or we could simply make the labels a lot smaller, by a mix of clever elding, alternative short texts and a smaller font. This requires some research but is technically not challenging.
- The state of the sections (collapsed or not) should be persistent. This gives the user more control over the property editor. We can e.g. provide large sections that are on the top and the user decides wheather they are extended or not.
- The Layout tab has to be integrated into the main tab, removing the tab alltogether. This could be implemented with a section in combination of a popup.
