Assets not visible in Assets view

Tested with 4.0.1 RC from online staging.

No assets come visible in Assets view after importing.

• Seems to affect all types of 2D assets.
• Regression from 4.0.0, also does not reproduce in latest 4.1 snapshot.
• See attached recording: when e.g. image file is added to project -> assets view is empty. When I type logo to search -> folders in Assets shown weirdly starting from Users/taremes/Documents/Untitledproject and then suddenly WindowsC:
• I've randomly seen similar root folder issue before https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QDS-8527 but in those cases it still showed the assets and issue went away by reopening the project. Now I cannot see assets even if I reopen the project.
