Failure while initializing license cache exception - cannot apply lock

Linux Ubuntu 22.04.4 / Wayland

Qt Creator 14.0.2

Steps to reproduce:

1. Make sure you have valid license 

2. Run 

qtlicensetool -c 

to clear reservation for the user

3. Run Qt Creator and after fetching the license close the Qt Creator.

4. Try to run

qtlicd --mode cli

or

qtlicd --mode on-demand 

Expected: The app runs in cli mode without issue.

Actual:  Getting exception:

Caught exception: Failure while initializing license cache:Cannot initialize cache: Cannot apply lock "/home/lukasz/.local/share/Qt/qtlicd/cache//cache.lock": Resource temporarily unavailable
 

Reproducibility:  100% **
