Potential uninstallation issue

    Description

      Just something to check, imagine the following scenario:

      • QLS 3.2.1 is installed with Qt
      • afterwards, QLS 3.3.0 is installed by some other software, let's say Squish
      • when started, QtCreator will use the new QLS 3.3.0 from the other software installation
      • as long as the QtCreator is running, it will not be possible to fully uninstall the other software (Squish)

      On Windows, it is not possible to delete the files that are being used at the moment of deletion.

      Event when the QtCreator is closed, it seems qtlicd stays running for a while, which still prevents uninstallation.
