I was trying to start qtcreator 15.0 from the command line today.

qtcreator got stuck loading the session, or parsing C++ files, but while it is stuck, I can see qtlicd eating up CPU for a looooong time.  Also, the konsole I started qtcreator from grinds to a halt.
Nothing about licenses is sent to stdout or stderr.

If I launch qtcreator from the desktop, I do not see this problem.

If I launch qtcreator from the command line, with -noload LicenseChecker I also do not see this problem.

      log attached.
