Slide view selection not following active slide

Expected:
When playing a presentation, slide view highlight follows currently active slide. When playback is stopped at slide [n], highlight will be on slide [n].

Actual:
When playing a presentation, slide view remains showing starting slide as active. When playback is stopped at slide [n], highlight is still at starting slide although presentation view & timeline show slide [n] content. Pressing slide view slide [n] moves the highlight to match timeline.
