Undoing creating new Object or Layer crashes

When adding a new object to the scene or creating a new layer then undoing the action, the application crashes.

Steps to generate:
1. drag an object from the object explorer to the scene, or create a new layer
2. click Ctrl+z or choose undo from the Edit menu
