Deleting a mesh object and undoing deletion shows a zombie material row for the mesh

Add a cube, delete the cube, and undo the deletion. The cube appears to have two default materials, though only one of them can be selected. Changing to master slide and back or otherwise updating all the rows gets rid of the zombie row.
