Description
As a engineer I sometimes need to use Linux (Ubuntu/Red Hat etc.) to deploy code to embedded devices. It would be convenient to have the Qt 3D Studio authoring tool available on Linux so that I can tweak the 3D presentations, optimise them for packaging and deployment to the target device. Today this requires me to have a separate Windows or macOS machine and is a bit cumbersome setup to work with. To improves this the editor should be also available on Linux OS.
This user story collects tasks that must be completed for Linux builds of the authoring tool to work both in release mode.
