Replace all text handling with QString

      Editor still has old (non QString based) text handling code hanging around and this causes multiple issues in the editor. Linked issues are ones that can be identified to this larger issue and the best way forwards is to do a rewrite where we replace all text handling in the editor with QString as that supports the localisation, fixes issues with non-ascii filenames etc.
