Animations for properties unlinked from the master slide cause jumping

It is possible (and useful) to have properties that animate and are un-linked to the master slide.  Attached is an example that shows an animation between two slides.

With Runtime 2.0 animations jump when switching slides from 1 frame, which doesn't look great.
