RHEL 7.4 doesn't have PWD env var set

    Description

      After short analysis the rebased environment for Qt master on RHEL 7.4 doesn't work because the PWD environment variable is empty. Some paths use that as prepend to relative paths (e.g. $$PWD/../../something) and this now causes the relative path to start from the root (e.g. /../../something) which fails the build process.
