Description
- In an X11 desktop session, set the environment variable "QT_QPA_PLATFORM" to "wayland".
- Start Creator.
It won't start. On the command line you can read:Failed to create wl_display (Connection refused) qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" even though it was found.
Sure, the users get what they asked for. A problem I see with this is that if somebody set the environment variable system-wide and tries to start Creator from a GUI menu, it will just not show up without any feedback. Would it be better to start on xcb anyway and inform the user about this with something like a warning message box?
