      1. Configure qtbase with "-sanitize address" and build it.
      2. Build the attached project. 
        qt-cmake /tmp/report/ && cmake --build .
      3. Run the resulting binary passing any .ico file as parameter: 
        ./report ~/dev/src/qtbase/tests/auto/gui/image/qimage/images/image.ico

        ASAN will report a memory leak:
