Empty sub menus causes crash

      If a sub menu does not have any children menus clicking on it causes a crash.

      1. Create a menu add it to the toolbar.
      2.Create a submenu for that menu item but do not create any children.
      3. Click on the sub menu to open it. The sub menu without any children crashes.

      Attached is a simple example to reproduce
