    Description

      To recreate this issue:

      1. test with qtbase/examples/widgets/widgets/lineedits
      2. add and use e.g "japanese - Romaji" keyboard from iOS settings
      3. Start to compose text in the line edit. Click inside the line edit to do a reset. Repeat twice. The second time the input suggestions in the keyboard will not be reset correctly
