Fix new qdoc warnings about undocumented members

    Description

      Due to defects, qdoc did not complain about missing documentation for C++ methods and variables in a lot of places.

      fixes this! It also now prints an avalanche of new warnings (>2500 in total) though! These need to be evaluated and fixed one by one.
