2D Painting Example crashes with dual screen

Qt's 2D Painting Example crashes if multiple screen is used. This is not reproducible on every system, but it is crashing on few h/w
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU,
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz.
To reproduce, run the example with dual screen and then drag it from primary laptop screen to second screen.
Using WIN+P disable the primary laptop screen and then restart the example again on secondary screen to observe the crash.
