Description
I attached a minimal example project which illustrates the following problem:
Situation with Xcode 13.4.1:
When I archive and upload the app with Xcode 13.4.1 (the current stable version) I get no errors from Xcode itself but from App Store Connect a few minutes after the upload completed.
The email says the following:
While processing your iOS app, Test...(shortened for this report) 1.0.0(13), errors occurred in the app thinning process, and your app couldn’t be thinned. If your app contains bitcode, bitcode processing may have failed. Because of these errors, this build of your app will not be able to be submitted for review or placed on the App Store. For information that may help resolve this issue, see Tech Note 2432.
Situation with Xcode 14.0.1:
I tested the newest available RC for Xcode 14.0.1 as well and at least Xcode goes a little bit (but not very helpful) step further by indicating the following warning after uploading the archive (which completes):
The app references non-public selectors in Payload/iostest.app/iostest: redo:, undo:
Then, after a few minutes I receive the exact same error email from App Store Connect as after uploading with Xcode 13.4.1.
I don't know if there's a connection between those two errors but I guess so.
