    Description

I'm a user, not a developer of Qt apps.  I have two different multimedia apps that are using Qt.

      clementine music player version 1.4.0-rc1+

      vlc media player 3.0.16

Both of these apps appear normal on Xubuntu 20.04.  After I upgraded to 22.04 the variable fonts in the active windows and tabs now appear much larger than they previously did.  Here an image of the clementine player with notes to help clarify.

I didn't know what was going on until I fired up vlc and saw the same thing and realized that both were using Qt.  No other apps on my system exhibit this problem, but most use GTK.

This looks like a bug.  I obtained the clementine source and recompiled it on my system with the same results.

Has this been seen before?  Is there any way to externally configure Qt with some settings that I could try to adjust the font size?

This system is using X11 as was 20.04, not Wayland. I have two 4K monitors.  There is fractional scaling available, but it is off (i.e., set to 1.0).
