Qt MOC system should be able to generate meta data for google's protobuf messages out of the box using a Q_PROTOBUF_OBJECT

Having a data model generator would improve tremendously architecture of Qt based HMIs as well as the time to market.

It would be possible to generate data models with out of the box compatibility with QML Views, C++ logic trough Qt6 C++ bindings , stream services trough gRPC or JSON, local Json storage ...

Updating data models in a collaborative environment is error prone. With a protobuf format, data models could be effortlessly and safely edited trough out the development cycle.

Im currently working a Qt wise MOC integration of google's protobuf stack and wondered if this could be integrated to the Core project.
