Description
When setting Qt Creator's Device SSH settings to use OpenSSH_9.0p1 (OpenSSL 1.1.1o 3 May 2022) in Windows, device test fails with:
Sending echo to device...
echo failed.
Device test failed.
When running with OpenSSH_9.0p1 via command line:
C:\Users\user>cmd /c "%SSH%" root@<IP>
Unable to negotiate with <IP> port 22: no matching host key type found. Their offer: ssh-rsa
(On the virtual machines SSH is set to point:
C:\Program Files\Git\usr\bin\ssh.exe)
If one changes the Device SSH setting to point to older SSH from path (OpenSSH_for_Windows_8.1.p1):
C:\Windows\System32\OpenSSH\ssh.exe
then device test passes.
