Description
Test setup:
Install minimal installation, so that maintenancetool is available¨
Before steps 1-x, run maintenancetool with --at <temp repos> and run tool with pressing "next" (don't change any incoming updates)
Temp repos: https://intranet.qt.io/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=QTRD&title=Qt+Creator+and+SDKTool+split
- Install new Qt binaries
- Uninstall Qt binaries
- Install new Qt binaries, then launch MT and uninstall QtCreator 9, then launch MT and uninstall the installed Qt binaries, then launch MT and install Qt binaries.
- Install new Qt binaries, at the same time uninstall QtCreator 9, then on different maintenancetool launches:
4.1. Uninstall the Qt version you have already installed
4.2. Install new Qt version
(check that the Qt version was correctly registered with sdktool, what ever system you have used in the previous test will do.)
Note that these are exmple scenarios, if you think some other order or test scenario is better then go for it.
