Using OpenGL on the Mac with QML can make whacky things appear on screen

      If you use OpenGL and have an only an Item or part of the root view is an item you can get crazy stuff showing up if you use -openGL on the Mac. This issue has been around like forever. So long I kind of got used to it. But it gives a really poor impression of QML. And now we default to -opengl on the Mac you get to see this problem a lot. The whacky stuff also changes as you resize the window.
