Reproduction steps:
With device in landscape orientation:
1. launch qmediaplayer (either via fluidlauncher, or directly)
2. select any video clip on the phone
3. enable full-screen mode (either by double-tapping on the video, or selecting the menu item)
4. video window does not take up full extent of the screen

However, the following sequence works correctly:
With device in portrait orientation:
1. launch qmediaplayer (either via fluidlauncher, or directly)
2. select any video clip on the phone
3. enable full-screen mode (either by double-tapping on the video, or selecting the menu item)
4. video window takes up full extent of the screen
5. rotate device 90 degrees
6. now in landscape orientation, video window takes up full extent of the screen
7. rotate device 90 degrees
8. now in portrait orientation, video window takes up full extent of the screen
