      Qt Creator 9.0.1
    • Android

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Create project with QLineEdit and QTextEdit or use attached one.
      2. Add placeholder text to both items.
      3. Run the project on Android.

Expected: The placeholder text should be greyed out (as it is for Plain Text Edit or on other platforms - attaching a screenshot from iOS)

Actual: The placeholder text looks like prefilled text.

      Reproducibility:  100%

NOTE: It works well on Qt 5.15.12
