animation/easing example doesn't even boot on emulator

C:\Qt\4.6.3\examples\animation\easing>make run
call /S60/devices/s60-31/epoc32/release/winscw/udeb/easing.exe

All this does is start the epoc emulator, but you don't even see the Nokia boot screen. It doesn't hang, as the rotate button works, but it never gets through the boot sequence no matter how long you wait.

The expected results would be to get the boot screen, and then that the Qt app started. For other Qt apps executed in the same way runs the emulator boots fine and the Qt apps run fine as well. Very odd.
