WebRTC cannot access camera or microphone (sometimes)

On macOS 13 and in simplebrowser, when trying to capture the camera / microphone on https://www.webrtc-experiment.com/RecordRTC/ the request to allow access to camera and microphone pops up, but fails to open the video source.

This is most likely due to the missing description in the Info.plist of simplebrowser. Adding the description to the file made the example work, even though it did not stop working when removing it, disallowing the access in settings and re-building the application, so there might be some caching in the permissions.
