Its not possible to position the cursor in the middle of text contained within a text combo box or a general line edit widget. In either case, the cursor will jump to the end or the beginning of the text.

Even trying to drag and select, or double-click and select fails.

This can be observed using the FindFiles example.

Again, this behavior is only observed on windows not on linux or mac. (The later two platforms work perfectly).
