Description
I observed an issue with TextEdit when storing a large amount of
text inside the text field and highlighting parts of it. The
displayed text is not rendered correctly in Linux (see attached image), while it seems
to work fine in Windows (although I'm not entirely sure).
Wrapping the TextEdit inside a ScrollView and
scrolling after the incorrect rendering fixes the issue again. On my
machine, the issue is triggered precisely on the 15190th
character, suggesting an overflow or similar problem.
When removing one character from the text this issues disappears.
Please find a minimal example attached.
