      The characters of several bitmap fonts are drawn as filled bounding rectangles, see attached screenshots of the font dialog in Qt Designer's preferences:

      • designer_5_15_2.jpg ==> Fonts are drawn well
      • designer_6_5_0.jpg ==> Fonts are broken

      Both screenshots originate from the same LINUX installation.
