    Description

      The Date API in JavaScript was mis-designed from the outset, so the ECMA standards folk are now working with the browser vendors and JavaScript coding communities to develop a replacement for it, known as Temporal.
      Among other things, this will include support for calendars other than Gregorian and time-zones other than local time and UTC; we have the means to support these.
