Partnering has a need for performance metrics for MPUs. This ticket covers the usage of the new performance benchmarking app for this, using a recommended configuration of the tool.

Internally we can use this default configuration for building a database of test results across different vendors' boards and externally partners can also use this default configuration in their demo and development work by tuning the default configuration to see how a particular board could be enhanced. Our revised guidelines for embedded performance with Qt can go alongside with this.
